Grimm's Grasping Beads Bright

This is a Big Dreams favourite and we love talking about it to all the new mums! This unique, brightly coloured wooden clutching toy is wonderful for babies and toddlers who are just learning how to grasp and manipulate objects. It consists of twelve vibrantly coloured wooden beads threaded on a sturdy elastic band. The beads twist and turn and also rattle gently when shaken. An absolute delight!

Age: 0+ months.

A little bit about why Big Dreams loves Grimm's Spiel and Holz:

Grimm’s Spiel & Holz have been making unique and distinctive natural wooden toys since 1978. These all natural toys are very well known in Europe and used extensively in kindergartens and by speech and occupational therapists.

Inspired by the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, Spiel & Holz toys promote independent and open-ended play, allowing for the child’s imagination and creativity to be developed.

They are created with the very best of care using alder, lime, maple and cherry woods.

Spiel & Holz toys have no sharp edges or corners as all they are individually sanded by hand. Each toy is hand-finished with special non-toxic and water-based dyes providing distinctive colours and shades, and then treated with pure vegetable oil.

Spiel & Holz have a strong environmental policy using green electricity sources, and minimal packaging.
